FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. HOW MANY PLAYERS? HOW LONG?

Dino Dodge is great for 2-5 players, ages 8+. A typical game takes 15-30 min, depending on the number of players. A game with 2 players usually lasts 20 min, and a game with 4 might last 30 min. Because the land tiles are randomized, each game is unique!

2. IS IT ACTUALLY FUN FOR 2 PLAYERS?

Yes! In fact, Dino Dodge is FULFILLING as a quicker, 2-player game. Take more calculated risks and zero in on what you have lined up for your opponent or think several rounds ahead on how you will survive. Dino Dodge works just as well with 2 players as it does 5.

3. HOW DO I WIN?

Simple! Be the last dinosaur standing! Focus on surviving. When given the opportunity, try moving your opponents into a threat to force their elimination. I mean, it’s not like they wouldnt do it to you?!

4. HAS DINO DODGE BEEN PLAY TESTED?

Yes. Despite the pandemic, we have turned our play testing to the web with several skype calls bleeding into AM. Our Game Designer, Arrio G. Amirgholi, had brought us a game with a simple function of isolating movement to action cards for all players to use equally. Arrio has a video game design background and we enjoyed playing his new card game.

From there, the game was further refined, both built up and chipped down to produce a fluid and balanced game experience as possible for a game built on chaos. If there is a rule or the absence of one, there was a deliberate reason for it. This game was also tested multiple times as a part of the Dallas Designers Group.

6. WAIT, WHAT’S THIS ABOUT ADD-ONS?

There are Add-ons available that add more mechanics and mayhem to the game. Dino Dodge will have Cataclysmic Events, Mysteries of Mother Earth, Prehistoric Pals, and Primal Powers(all adding to the game slightly differently but mainly through Advanced Mechanics and added Threats). The great part about the expansions is that they were specifically designed to be played together, in pairs or separately by choice.

7. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I SUBSCRIBE TO THE NEWSLETTER?

When you Subscribe, we will send you an update a month additionally with cool extra content on the game. Such as the official Dino Dodge story by Mike Nguyen (its a tearjerker), sneak peaks at the official Dino Dodge soundtrack and cool updates on Artwork and Mechanics.

8. HOW CAN I BUY DINO DODGE?

The only place to get Dino Dodge is through Kickstarter which has already successfully ended but you can still pre-order the game. Sign up by clicking here to be notified when we’re ready!

9. WHAT IS KICKSTARTER?

Kickstarter is a platform for creators like us to ask for the support of potential backers like you. It’s a way for the crowd to vote with their wallets on whether a product should come to market. Unlike a store, these products haven’t been made yet. So, if the campaign is successful, Dino Dodge will go into production!

Once the campaign ends, you will receive a survey from a company called BackerKit. This survey is how you will claim your reward. You can also buy additional copies of the game if you’d like.

It’s not traditional retail, but remember, you are in on the ground floor of Dino Dodge and will be the first to receive the game before the general public.
